Specialties
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps individuals stay present, accept difficult thoughts without judgment, and move forward with purpose. With support, they learn practical coping tools to manage challenges and focus their energy on healing and growth.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
DBT teaches people to accept their thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and the techniques to change them. Not only are personal skills taught in DBT, but skills for interpersonal relationships are also emphasized. DBT is based on CBT, but it focuses more on the emotional and social aspects of living.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a goal-oriented therapy that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps individuals identify negative thinking patterns, challenge them, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s difficulties.
Walk & Talk
Take therapy outdoors, combining movement with in-person conversation. Walking side by side in a natural setting can ease anxiety, support mindfulness, and create a comfortable space for reflection, emotional processing and growth.
Support for BRCA 1 & 2 Previvors
Therapy for BRCA 1 & 2 previvors offers a supportive space to process the emotional impact of carrying a genetic predisposition to cancer. Sessions may explore identity shifts, body image, anxiety about the future, and the weight of family history. This work centers on building resilience, clarity, and self-compassion — so you can move forward with greater confidence and grounding.
Virtual Sessions: Texas & New York
In-Person Sessions: Austin, Texas
What you may gain from therapy
Therapy is a space to slow down, reflect, and begin making sense of what’s been keeping you stuck. Our work together will help you reconnect with yourself—beyond the pain, patterns, and expectations that may have shaped your story so far.

More clarity around their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors
Freer from old patterns that no longer serve them
Better equipped to navigate stress, relationships, and life transitions
More grounded and present, even when things feel uncertain
More self-trust and self-compassion, especially in moments of struggle
Reconnected to what matters most—values, purpose, and identity
